Listy 23 November 2003 07:01 PM

Stunning Motor..... Bit to much Bling on that centre consul for me though.....

Not that would stop me buying it of course..:)

GRIFFS STI 23 November 2003 07:02 PM

hi matey,i do miss it but prefer a clean driving license if you know what i mean!i didn't put that exhaust on,when i had it i put an afterburner backbox on but when i part ex with rob he wanted to keep the firestorm off his car so we swapped,i now have a firestorm backbox on my 03 and yes they ARE bloody loud, keep her clean and drive her steady.
cheers

phok 23 November 2003 10:18 PM

very nice, do you know where the dash was done?

AndiThompson 23 November 2003 10:31 PM

Gorgeous, not keen on the flocking though...

talizman 23 November 2003 11:44 PM

Lovely!

Nice touch with the P1 seats.

Not too sure about the centre console though....

And what it on the dash???? WRC look?

The best colour though, and the best choice of wheels for the car too! ;)

rb5 286 24 November 2003 07:01 AM

stunning looker

blue centre console, na, thats nasty!!! IMO ;)

Gav 24 November 2003 10:05 AM

Thats how it comes on the "limited" versions guys. You get the blue centre, blue dial surround and normally blue seats ( which these have been changed, obviously:) )!!!

Stunning motor if you ask me:) have you been brave and whacked it into full rear wheel drive yet mate???

gav..

Welloilbeefhooked 24 November 2003 10:29 AM

Stunning car mate!!!

Thinking of a 2 dr myself. How much would I be looking at to get hold of a late classic the same as this?

talizman 24 November 2003 11:14 AM

Never heard of this before.... and I've seen heaps of Ltd versions with "normal" interiors!

Someones been at it with a tin of Halfords finest spray paint! ;)

Dave R 24 November 2003 01:14 PM

This looks like a Version 5 Ltd. They came with std STI seats and grey console as std. You only got the blue console and speedo bezel with the Version 6 Ltd's, so I assume that's where it's from, or it's really a 6 with a V5 rear spoiler....

DR

thecoachsimon 24 November 2003 01:15 PM

one word

beautiful!!!
how much were the upgrades?
have you tuned the engine at all?

GRIFFS STI 24 November 2003 05:47 PM

to put you all straight the car is a version 6 v limited the centre bits come blue and the rear spoiler is the wrc style not the version 6 that was on it,i know this cause it was mine!
cheers
jason
added to say original seats were the all blue v limited seats with yellow embroidery but were changed for p1 seats

salsa-king 24 November 2003 06:04 PM

i can't see any pix!!

scoobydobydoo 24 November 2003 08:31 PM

yeh what a nice looking car! do hope your fav. colour is blue though!

Kane 24 November 2003 08:44 PM

The centre console on the V6 is the same colour as the dash dial insert, I think people are just picking up on the centre being brighter blue than normal thats all...Looks a really nice motor- shame about the pro-drive seats though - orginals look the dogs in light blue...

Nice alloys though also..

skoobidude 24 November 2003 08:59 PM

Kane

Thing is mate the original front seats don't have totally matching back seats to go with them. At least the Prodrive seats have only a small amount of blue with the rest contrasting nicely with the back seats.

We all have opinions of course. If I was to please everybody here the car would look like a rainbow!

Nick

edited to say the last paragraph is a joke - so not to provoke too many serious people!;)

talizman 24 November 2003 10:30 PM

Matter of personal opinion I suppose, but I think the V Ltd Blue seats are absolutely repulsive!!!! :D

Kane 25 November 2003 12:57 AM

scooby - completly agree m8 - your happy with your interior and thats all that "really" matters...each to their own...

Tas - As for me I like the standard blue seats - i also like the standard integra red seats - i just like standout seats...in fact i like the prodrive seats also but i aint telling my bro who has the P1 to go with the seats..lol

talizman 25 November 2003 11:10 AM

Fair points Kane...

I too like the ITR Recaros, purely cos they are so outlandish and red actually is sporty.

IMO, the blue shade that was used in the V Ltd seats is horrible... very pastel! Changing rooms would love them! ;)

mikeesingh 25 November 2003 06:36 PM

you lucky b*stard
you still work at S&A? as i not seen it about

mikee

skoobidude 25 November 2003 06:41 PM

I'm surprised you haven't heard it!! Although I try to keep it down a bit when I'm around there. Are you going to the meeting on Sunday at Markeaton?

Nick

Hi skoobidude/Jason

I take it the wheels are OZ prodrive 18"? What tyres are you running and what size, any rubbing as I am about to order the same wheels for my 4 door STi 6

Cheers

Adrian
