We've just bought a small boat :D It came with a pre 1960 Seagull outboard that I'd like to restore. Since the boat was built in 1913 I'd not want to spoil the looks by putting a new outboard on it.
The problem is that outboard has been drowned on at least one occasion! (salt water) and on dismantling it, I found that the piston had siezed in the bore, and I managed to crack the conrod :( I wondered if anyone had any spares for a Seagull 102 (either long shaft or standard would be OK) Condition not that important - price must be very cheap! give my work a call on 01382 566670 they should be able to help.we are boat builders and had a few seagul engines lying about.you may get spares from them.

Thanks. :)
Most of it is taken apart now. Just got to get the driveshaft off now. |
