Quick, before it gets moved into the Insurance Forum

Definaltley Liverpool Victoria.

WRX Wannabe 19 November 2003 12:30 PM

Yep Liverpool are Very Good and mine was £600 cheaper than Tesco :)

magepaster 19 November 2003 12:31 PM

I`d have to go with Liverpool Victoria too

tporteruk 19 November 2003 12:32 PM

On their website it says they don't insure imports?

corradoboy 19 November 2003 12:34 PM

It also says they don't insure modified vehicles, but they do. Give them a ring, it's always better to deal with a human than a machine.

scooby_si 19 November 2003 12:36 PM

wont do imports if yer under 30 so yer safe & they r mod friendly unlike direct line AKA privilege so a) give em a call & b) get modding ;) lol

Thanks for that - calling them now!

Adrian Flux would have been cheaper than Liverpool Victoria. However, they consider the fact that my car was rear-ended as a 'fault claim' since the 3rd-part scarpered. Since there was nobody to claim from, AF class that as my fault! Can you believe it...?

Liverpool Victoria got my business instead. If you've got no unrecovered claims, then try Adrian Flux first.

Let us know how you got on :D

tporteruk 19 November 2003 12:47 PM

Just tried L & V and they said can't insure me as car isn't on system! Sti Version 3 (97) - 4 door! They had a 2 door Sti V3 but not 4 door! I'll try Adrian Flux I guess.

tporteruk 19 November 2003 06:04 PM

Here we go - results so far - I am 40 years old with full NCD and no accidents/convictions - MY97 WRX Sti
Direct Line 880
Privilage 987
Tesco 1143
Adrian Flux - couldn't beat Direct Line
L & V - can't insure 4dr WRX Sti?

I think im right in saying that Privilege is part of direct line tporteruk,i think they set it up to be the kind of sporty side to it,dunno how direct line could be cheaper than privilege as its part of the same company, should maybe double check m8 cause usually privilege is cheaper
