I've been waiting to see if someone else posted this, but I'll do it myself now.

Did no-one else see Steve Irwin on the ITV breakfast programme yesterday?
At one point, he actually took his 5 year old daughter into a pen with a live crocodile, a big b*gger, and held her over it "to give it a kiss".

When Jacko did something similar, there was an outcry. This guy needs banning fromm TV!

On the same tack, that idiot presenter, Aemon Holmes, (sp?), virtually asked him to do it, then was weaselling about how he "hadn't requested it"!
He wants banning too

i'd imgine mr irwin knew what he wasdoing as he is an expert on the creatures and has years and years of experience with them, doubt theres many ppl who know more than he does about them

Bit like giving your daughter a hamburger to eat in full public view to try to make everyone believe that BSE did not happen!

Despite all the man's experience, there is no way you can read the mind of a creature like that and to risk his chid is beyond the pale.

Les :(

I'm sure he knows the agility of the crocs by now and wouldn't dare risk the chance of his daughter's head being bitten off.

Irwin know's a lot about these animals. However there is another guy that knows much more....Bob Bredl. He demonstrates that they act purely on instinct. He fully explains their actions and why they do it. It's after seeing Bredl in action that you understand that Irwin isn't as mad as he appears to be.
