I believe the injectors are high side drive, so have drawn an NPN transistor in the ECU. If we time this pulse width and extend it we could proportionally enrich one cylinder. I know it is hairbrained, but there you are. |
looks about right, injector is fired by taking one line to ground.
I take it this is to cool #4, or is it #3? EGT sensor in each branch of headers would be good idea, and cheaper that 4 widebands Paul |
Would the ECU's transistor drive get upset getting its collector and emitter effectively tied together to ground?
Was looking at Dowser's inlet manifold results... number 4 is the best flowing, rest were very close. Just an idea, I'm just not so good at turning them into reality any time soon ;) A little bit of inspiration.. http://www.techlusion.com/geninst.pdf |

Check the numbering though - the guy doing the manifold has his own numbering scheme (from 22B; "I used the guy doing the work's numbering plan - #4 is front right when standing in front of engine."). Front left is # 1. How does this comapre to the cylinder numbers? :) Oh, and regardless, I'd be very interested in fuel trim for that 1 cylinder (that runner still has ~4.5% more flow than the other 3 - much better than previous 15% though!)...my builder has already confirmed he can fit egt bosses to each runner.
