I've tried trawling through the archives but can't find an answer to my question, which is;
How many different blues has the Impreza (including WRX, STi) been sold in?
Was Sonic Blue available on a 96 WRX?
Is the early WRX dark blue the same as the Mcrae edition?
Someone tell me please!

I parked my sonic blue ra next to a p1 at a meet and they looked a different shade both 74F though. Difficult to tell from that picture it does look sonic but they did do a mcrae colour in imports as well.

only way to tell 100% is that it should be 74F colour code on the vin plate

defintely look dark but the colour is very strange in different light. Heres mine

Cheers chrisp. Now you mention it I've seen that there are two shades of Sonic, but I didnt think they were so different!

the ones i can think of are:

wr blue
sonic blue
555 blue
dark mica blue x 2
deep blue mica
reddish blue

i think so...im sure its a none metalic paint job...in a lighter shade of the dark/deep mica colours
