Follow the link below to rate England's performance on the Sydney Morning Herald web site.
Go to this link and vote that England were "Scintillating". The Aussie Pomie bashing of "dull, dull, dull" has mostly reduced to insignifincant levels already :D Deano |
Hello
84% scintillating! (sounds like me on a good day!) Steve. |
An excerpt of an email recently received from a mate of mine, who moved to sydney some years ago;
I have included a quote from an English guy who, thoroughly pissed off with the Pom bashing in the local press, has written this response: "The problem with Australia is lack of class: lack of sporting class and lack of social class. Most of you are descended from the thieving rat-faced dregs of cockney London. The rest of you've got that lumpen, prole-ish look of the industrialised north of England about you: coal miners and donkey rogerers to a man. Your culture and your politics are banal. And in my experience, you smell. Remember: thieving ways don't disappear over just a couple of generations; the criminal class will always revert to type." Please note guys and gals that they are not necessarily my views; I don't know many aussies, so please don't bother flaming me. Just thought it was a bit humorous;) [Edited by RRH - 11/17/2003 9:28:58 PM] |
They just have to blame someone for something so they blame the motherland, simple as that. They'd moan if they did break out of the commenwealth, so it's a no-win situation. I know a few aussies and they are great people.
If you want to here whining on a olympic level, talk to a Kiwi! now they can moan, nothing is ever right, it's always bette in NZ, in which case, feck off back there you pain in the ass! |
LOL, when I first glanced at the title I thought it said "PORN bashing - do your bit" Never clicked on a link so fast :D

A seven year old boy was at the centre of a courtroom drama last week when he challenged a court ruling over who should have custody of the boy.
The boy has a history of being beaten by his parents and the judge awarded custody to his aunt. The boy cried and said that his aunt beat him more than his parents and he refused to live there. When the judge suggested that he live with his grandparents the boy cried out that they beat him more than anyone. The judge dramatically allowed the boy to choose who should have custody of him. Custody was granted to the English rugby team this morning as the boy firmly believes that they are not capable of beating anyone. Aussie Aussie Aussie Oi Oi Oi !!! :D |
Not beating anyone, eh....? :D Ah thats right, in our last few matches against you lot we were playing against a bunch of nobodies ;) :D
The next ones a bit of a big one though isn't it :) Have you seen how they now have an article about how the vote was 'hijacked' by us poms :D And there is also another poll where you can rate the Wallabies - in a similar vein to the last poll hijacking :D I think we should get together and give something like 'butter fingers' a bit of a boost :D :D [Edited by JohnMcC - 11/18/2003 6:24:08 AM] |
only 79% of 54,317 votes say scintillating !!
Kiwi news on Mon was dominated by the Aussies winning. Iraq and other 'worls news' was way down the agenda !! Roubens Thorne (sp) the All Blacks captain, predicted before the match "that a lose may dampen the kiwi economy". Sad but true. |
It's only a game !!!!! (that's the current NZ mantra) ....
|
when I first glanced at the title I thought it said "PORN bashing - do your bit" down to only 80% :( |
Gotta love the Aussie way:
Cathy Freeman and athletics : What would you advise Cathy Freeman to do now? Don't care - 34% PMSL :D |

A guy walks into a bar with a corgi under his arm. The dog is wearing an England rugby jersey and is festooned with England pom-poms. The bartender says, "Hey! No pets allowed! You'll have to leave." The guy begs him, "Look, I'm desperate! We're both big fans, the TV's broken at home, and this is the only place around where we can see the game." After securing a promise that the dog will behave, and warning him that he and the dog will be thrown out if there's any trouble, the bartender relents and allows them to stay in the bar and watch the game. The big game begins with the poms receiving the kickoff. They march down field, get stopped at the 22, and kick a penalty goal. Suddenly, the dog jumps up on the bar and begins walking up and down the bar giving high-fives to everyone. The bartender says, "Wow, that is the most amazing thing I've ever seen! What does the dog do if they score a try?" The owner replies, "I don't know, I've only had him for three years."
