Does anybody know the valve sizes, Inlet & Exhaust for STi V5 / V6 and New age STi V7 / V8?

Thanks

Conrad

I can measure my STI 5 valves at the weekend if nobody has replied by then.

Thanks Cord, I will be able to measure STi 7 ones on Friday hopefully. :D

They are all rather large. Your money is better spent elsewhere, especially if EVOs can make power on valves that are about 2-3mm smaller in diameter.

Paul, I was merely after a comparison between classics and new age cars, alegedly the new age AVCS head don't flow as well as the older ones, wondered if it was down to valve size???

I don't think the valve sizes have changed over the years, certainly not phase 1 to phase 2. Headflow in the phase 2 is a lot better stock though, and even modified the pahse 2 has the edge.

off the top of my head (no pun intended!!) Exhaust are 32mm and inlet are 38mm (but it could be 36mm!!!) I will check at the weekend.

AFAIK, all the valve sizes up to 2000, are EX32mm, IN36mm.

Be interesting to see if they've changed, but I doubt it.

Mark.
