Im looking to by some 18" alloys can you get them on without any scrubbing on the archers.

What are you putting them on ?
Phil :D |
if its for classic or new type imprezas then you can fit them without scrubbing the arches providing the offset is suitable for Imprezas.
If they are 18" alloys for japanese cars that have the same stud pattern, then they may not fit as offset is usually not big enough. Has to be subaru specific fitment or you could use spacers, but i wouldnt. |
what tyre size do you recomend
|
its a classic 2000
|
215/35/ZR18"
what i have on my MY99 (same for you) |
An ET50 offset is recommended if running 18's on a classic Impreza! :)
Some people get around this with arch rolling and spacers etc, but with 215/35 18 tyres and either 7 or 7.5inch wide rims you should be fine. HTH |
hi ive a my94-WRX-STI-1 with 18" rims and 225/35/18 toyo tyres been on for 6000, miles no probs at all, totally thrash it, one prob with the 225/35 tyres the speedo is reading alot slower, as the rolling circ, is 11mm more then the original tyre wheel combo, so i would go for 215/35, tyres if you can find any, pic below
