Just curious if you can fit a Hayward & Scott full de-cat exhaust inc up-pipe to the newest version of the Jap spec Sti.
Is it safe to do bearing in mind the engine differences between a UK & a JDM engine?
I seem to remember when the UK STi7 first came out Dave-TS had a few problems with his full SS exhaust and reverted back to the OEM.
Cheers

Has it already been remapped?
If not it would be a good idea to do it after fitting the exhaust.

You may have an issue with overboost, also I think the downpipe is different on the JDM STI 8(9) due to the twin scroll turbo.

As Sammy says above the exhaust port of the VF36 and VF37 Twin Scroll units is wider than the UK cars.

AFAIK there are no down pipes available over here yet. You might be able to source something from Japan though.

I think Scoobysport will have one by January ish.

Nathan..
