how do u tackle them ickle little nuts on the bottom of the unit which i "think" are the oil outlet connection thingy bobs
i can reach one but cant seam to get the one closest to the diff dipstick help a thick geordie please :D |
Eh?
Oil and water are banjo bolts.. if not there are rubber hoses that pull off the fittings on the head.. David |
there wasnt much "legnth" on the rubber pipe, so u just fooken yanked it and pulled it off
im wondering how to get it back on tho? just push it? how do u manage to get the daft clip back on the pipe (doesnt look like any room to get sum pliers in wait till u see the pic ive just taken of my turbo :D |
dohh picture didnt come out very well
|
ill take a few more
the blades are "dead" |
yeah just push the turbo back on and the pipe will push in.

the bolt on part that i was trying to remove in the 1st place had to be transferd to the new turbo
the holes did not align up so i had to persuade them with a big drill bit :D once that was sorted i then tried to fit it and push down, which had the black rubber pipe simply slideing down the other metal tube meaning it wouldnt go on took me fooken ages with a whole manner of mole grips and lobster claws all mangled together to get the pipe to slide over the edge of the metal pipe  |
I found the best way (for me)is to secure the oil return rubber hose with a jubilee clip on the hose at the turbo end, fit the wire clip to the bottom of the hose and then when fitting the turbo on to the manifold the rubber hose goes on easier to the oil drain return pipe.
Alan  |
ahhhhhh
genuis i could have saved ages doing that lol |
