Hi Guys.

I am tempted to go for a complete Mongoose Exhaust on my UK MY97. Has anyone got one fitted or heard good/bad things about 'em.

Price and Performance appear to be above
average.

Cheers

I had mine fitted a month ago for £500 all in and it sounds better than anything else anywhere - very, very 'meaty' indeed!

(Well then I would say that.)

To be honest, it sounded sigificantly 'meatier' than a 22B I heard last weekend...

Yes I've heard very good things indeed - and from 2 different tuners (one a HKS specialist).

According to Interpro they give you one of the best performance increases as well.

Not too noisy on the motorway either.

Sti Imports/Interpros 'Monster' Subaru demonstrator has a full Mongoose and its awesome.

£500 all fitted including VAT

Have you had your car on the rollers since you fitted the exhaust? If yes, what are you recording?

Is yours a UK car?

At this point you can phone a friend, take the 50/50 or ask the audience. http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Chris,

No, I've never had my car on the rollers - I just love the sound of it more than wanting to know the exact power it delivers!

But, yeah, I was supposed to have had the car dyno tested before/after but is wasn't done due to the fact that the 4-wheel RR wasn't free at that point in that day and in fact it was 9pm and I wanted to go home!

No mine's not a UK car, it's a, hold on a minute... a '99 STi5 TypeR(= coupe) V-Limited(= blue). Simply put, it's a 2 door with the water spray system and the variable-center-diff-lock control.

I'll take the 50/50. Did I get the answer right?

PS. did you know that the smiley next to your name 'turns Japanese' if you highlight it with your mouse?

Cheers!

Richard
