SCOOBYDOOBYJU 11 November 2003 05:26 PM

car was violated last night thieving scumbags nicked clear side repeaters and just the clear lenses off of the front indicators. Not content with making the car look like a wreck due to the holes left in the body work they removed the insided gubins "Bulb holder assembly" we have managed to get hold of new clear repeaters and indicators but now need the essetial gubins to get the buggers working. Does any one have these little gizmo's laying around or know of any scoobs breaking in the Medway Towns would like to get this sorted asap as moving to South Wales Friday and me thinks may have problem getting spares down there.

if your movin to south wales on sunday, I'd hold off as you'll get lots more bits nicked when you've moved, my mates whole car went from his drive way in port talbot !

Sad thing about this is,its obviously a scooby owner whos pinched them for his own car..........wa**er.

Like Zippy says, the saddest thing about this is that the thief is almost definitley a Scoob driver. If the tw*t can afford the insurance and fuel, surely twenty nicker on a set of repeaters isn't out of the question. I hope he snaps the prongs off trying to fit them !

Had exactly the same thing happen to me a couple of months back, BL@%dy annoying. They used a screwdriver to get them out and cut the wires. Got replacement wire and holders from HDC Subaru.

Thanks guys for your help we didnt really want to believe that it could be another scooby owner but dont think they'd fit much else. The only saving grace is that they didn't harm the car in any other way.

They could be stolen to order. I had mine nicked and you're talking about £100 to replace the lot. Well worth the pro's time I would think. :(

Jolly Green Monster 12 November 2003 01:35 PM

Mate has his whole front bumper nicked and another mate the wheels

and like you say.. mostlikely Scoob owners themselves!!

JGM :(

Jiggerypokery 12 November 2003 02:51 PM

Not necessarily, like rossyboy says, they could be stolen to order. I've seen recovered cars which have been stripped of everything they can sell as parts, bumpers, spoilers, grilles, wings...
Whoever took them likely knows how easy they are to steal.
