As some of you may know I've managed to blow 3 engines since April... (probably cused by a dodgy MAF)
So I am really getting Pi$$ed off with my Scooby, also I am now doing more and more miles & spending £400/ month on fuel it may be time to let it go :(

Any Ideas whats its worth???

1999 "V" Jap WRX (2000 spec) standard spec but ltd edition, in RB5 Grey Metalic, ltd edition interior. 6 stack CD, aircon etc. Clear Headlights & Fogs. & its done about 70,000 miles.

Option 1: Value "AS IS" with Blown engine for someone to lovingly restore to its former glory?

Option 2: Value once engine has been re-built / replaced, & MAF / Fueling sorted?

Option 3: Value if I put a STi ver5 Red top engine into it, complete with ECU (and sort MAF / Fueling)?

I would have thought that with import Subarus, it is very difficult to get an idea of values, other than what someone is willing to pay for it.

If you sell 'as is' then you know already that you are going to get a very low figure for it as anyone half interested is going to expect it to be a total steal and come up with (some legitimate) reasons for how much it might cost them to get it sorted. The bonus is you don't have to spend any more.

If you are into imports, I'd personally think that working out a deal either to repair or for part ex on a newer one with them is the best option as they may be able to balance their profit with your new one ?
