What's the differance between GSD3 and GSD2?

I understand that there is a difference to the stiffness of the tyre wall - Don't know which is best, but 2's are stiffer. I think I read that 3's are better, as ultimately same level of grip, but slightly less bumpy ride.

I have 3's and no-probs AFAIK.

I've had both, the 2's are harder in the sidewall, there's also a different tread pattern, the 3's seem to have a bigger tread block on the sides, so maybe outright cornering would be better on the 3's, but, if you find some 2's, I reckon they should be a better price too, so the choice is yours, on the road I don't reckon you'd tell the difference, apart from the very light vagueness when I first had the 3's, soon got used to it though!!

gone for the 2's rightly or wrongly, Tyreland did them for £105 each all in (215/40x17)
