hi,
has anyone found a paint code or touch up pen that matches the anthracite P1 alloys? want to have a go at repairing a few marks but don't want it to look crap:) cheers |
Hi, hope your not watching this thread for too long, it's just that every time I have seen this Ques asked, nobody has ever come up with a paint code!.(Do a search if you like) :( It would seem that prodrive would like every one to drive round on scabby rims, or at least buy a new wheel instead :o If you do manage to find out, could you E-mail me cos I'm still looking for a suitable match! ;)

i tried for ages to get some original touch up paint with no results. I got some rover metallic paint a few months ago, ill find out the exact colour and let you know.

When I had the P1 I too tried to get this colour match but to noavail :(
Holts are the best match but not many outlets sell Holts anymore. I scoured all the independants and found a local one. I was told that I need Dupli-colour Gunmetal Metallic LBM135 by somebody on P1WOC. I couldn't get anybody to stock that code so had to do it by eye. I actually got a close match with a Vauxhall colour, Titanium. On the stick it has the code <5061 6053> and CV164 0156. I was happy with the dried result. Hope this helps. |
