Anyone ever hear of a cd that has sounds of WRC cars on it.

Spoke to someone today that had a cd of this played to him in a car when over at the Catalunya rally.

Its supposed to be worth hearing, and he wants to get a copy of it, it would be grate if we had the name of the disc or a supplier so that it can be purchased....or even better a mp3 download etc :D

Try here - there's mention of a "Best of STi" CD and a 54 second sample mp3 which is actually rather good.

Thanks guys, from what I gather these are sounds recorded from inside the cars while on stages, it is supposed to be really worth hearing.

All he knows is that one of the cars he heard on the cd was a subaru wrc on stage but he doesnt know the name or anything else of the disc :confused:

There is a cd called "RALLY SOUNDS - Duel en decibels (Sound duel)" produced by JL Prod from France (Ref: LYCD 997)
It's 34 mins of sounds, in car with and without French pace notes and on stage, plus a tribute to Jean Ragnotti in French. The cars are mainly the 306 and Megane although I haven't specifically identified a Scoob on there.

Actually got mine from the French "Rallyes" magazine.
But if you have a look on www.hmv.co.uk, and put RALLY SOUNDS in their search, and search "all" it comes up with the goods for 14.99.
The Motorsport one (GT sounds) on the Melodie label is good as well!!
