... sounds painful I know!

Need some thoughts as to whether the following is normal or not. Only noticed it since my MY99's running in period ended.

When accelerating hard from a standstill in 1st, I quickly change to 2nd, let out the clutch (quite quickly) and there is a loud Clonk from the rear of the car.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Paul

Check the rear diff. and trailing arm bushes.

But the problem is the movement in the rear beam assembly. Caused by poorly designed beam mounting bushes.

David, can you recommend an online order site for Powerflex Bushes?

If you want to send an e-mail order to sales@powerengineering.co.uk then we can supply from there.
