LOL! :D

the Green filters can be ordered with a refurb kit (£11.75) from all good retailers ;).. This helps to keep the flow rate up

This is a "Blue" Green

In all honesty, not worth swapping if you already have a "Green" Green :)(but don't let me stop you ;);):D ).. but worthy of consideration if running the red paper effort.

The filter material here is to our own spec and is somewhere between the road "green" and their Group A material in terms of flow and filtration. If you want to get hugely technical, a quick mail to TSLRichard@aol.com can have precise flow figures for this appearing in your incoming mail.

Hope that helps

Just tried to buy an ITG air filter from Scoobysport but they don’t stock them anymore. They now stock the green cotton air filter.

I have only heard good things about the ITG filters, are the green cotton filters as good?

The ITG is an excellent filter

the Green flows marginally more.. and is a little less oily.

There is also a "blue" Green subaru specific filter available

Cheers

Paul

Could we have a little more info on the 'blue' filter plaese?
I have a 'green' green filter in mine. (if you know what I mean) Bought from TSL.

to be honest the gains over the standard fiter are not that noticeable or is it just me ?

The HKS on the other hand made changes not that good out weighed the bad;)

more turbo lag running lean but mid range was neck snapping, just that your engine would have gone bang after a while,

have no experience of the ITG but for £60 its hardly worth worrying about,

how often do you clean the green filters? mines been in for 3000 miles now.

Also, what is the best way to clean them? and with what?

bobbyh 07 November 2003 01:48 PM

put them in the dishwasher with yesterdays cottage pie.

no, rinse in petrol and and old bucket.

bobbyh 07 November 2003 01:49 PM

use gloves when exposed to petrol....benzine is v carcinogenic!

paul wot price is the blue m8??

Dark Blue Mark 08 November 2003 10:04 PM

That blue one is the one I just got sent from TSL. If you get one, you will find you have to trim all the little rubber tabs off. They are designed to be trimmed. Just a bit of extra work.
