Has anybody had any experience of fitting a Prodrive or Bell & Colville Short Shift Gear Linkage ?

If so can you let me know what you think and whether it was worth the money or not.....

Cheers

Jason

Jason,

You don't say what scooby you have.I have a STi, with so called 'quick shift'(sti).I found it to be far too long, so tried the GGR 'slightly quicker shift' lever. This helped a bit.Next I extended the thead, and cut about 1" off the top of the lever. Now it's fantastic.About 2" front to back.

It might be worth 'playing' before you spend a lot of money.GGR Q/S is about £100.

Mark.

I have a Prodrive quickshift on my MY98 and like it lots. Much sportier feel - quite 'snicky' in fact. Worth £300 ish ? You need to try one before spending that sort of dosh.

Sorry Mark its an MY98... i've heard the shifts are quite good but rather clicky so just trying to get opinions before i buy.. will definately try one though as 300 quid could go towards something else.....
