Hey peebs,

Looking @ larger turbos but would like some users input as to the pros and cons of them.
Ideally the VF22 on an early 94 WRX http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif but any input appreciated irrespective of YM.
Wot kinda lag r u getting, is it noticable?
Wot kinad boost r u running? Did u get the inlet modified to straight flow? What ecu r u running it with? etc etc.

Thanks in advance

Pete

There is a lot of factors with the turbos, size doesn't matter as much as the number of blades on the impellas etc.

You can mod the TD05 to a roller bearing turbo. The roller bearing turbos can tend to overspool quite a bit. But perform quite a bit better.

The site I told you about is not specific to Subarus but has plently of information about the TD05 turbos.

TD05 is a much tougher turbo than the VF series, the sleeve bearing system hardly ever fails.
