Does anybody know of any room planning/layout software? Just need to do some rough layouts for furniture positioning.

Hello

FloorPlan 3D (http://www.floorplan.com/) is quite good and has a free trial.

I know this sounds daft, but couldn't you get away with a bit of A4 with a scale drawing, and some cutouts of the furnitures footprints on. Save a few squids?

Should I get my coat?

My girlfriend always uses a pad of squared paper and a ruler and then measures things to size. Or Visio :D
