Fronts lasted over 20k miles (rears still fitted) which was 3k better than all 4 of the original Bridgestones.
How did you get them to last that long.

I'm struggling to keep them on at ~9K miles.

Just one point to note, the outer sidewall and the [cough] rim protector are a bit too soft on the GS-D3's

Originals need replacing (14000 miles) not too bad I suppose.
What price should I expect for a front set,

The back set are not as worn as the front set but would it be best to still change all 4??

Thanks in advance

Steve

Goodyear GS-D3 Eagle F1's. Less than 100 quid each from Micheldever Tyres. Fronts lasted over 20k miles (rears still fitted) which was 3k better than all 4 of the original Bridgestones. Also quieter and better grip in the wet.

cheers for that,

does it matter if you just change the front tyres do you think??

I'm going through the same thing at the moment, however I swopped the original fronts with the orginal rears a few months ago and therefore squeezed 20K miles out of the 4 tires.

I got the following quotes per corner, inc VAT and fitting:
Goodyears (GSD3's) £92
Toyo Proxes £94
Pirelli PZero Rosso £96

I'll probably go for the Toyo, and might try the new ones which are supposed to be launched next week.

Phil
