i have an STI7 and just wondered if anyone knew how to make the alarm beep when it was engaged or disengaged. It is the standard alarm that came with the car.
|
Turn on the vehicle ignition, press the remote button once, type 7, immediately turn off the ignition.
Replace 7 with 6 to switch off. * Toggles between loud & soft bleeps 4 activates Auto lock (sort of Anti Hi jack) 5 Turns off Auto lock. Happy Typing Chris |
cheers, off to the car park . . . . . for a fag break!

LOL
Let me know how you get on, and drop me a e mail if you want the full manual. Chris |
Chris,
Is there any chance you could mail me the Sigma manual please? I know everyone's been hassaling you for this, but if you've got 2 minutes I'd be very grateful! richard.linney @silvertown.co.uk Cheers :) Rich |
All sorted. beep beep!
|
Rich,
I don't mind sending it out at all - beats working :D YHM Chris |
rb5tfh,
I take it with beep beep , you didn't activate the turn - clunk option ? :D Chris |
Also works on STI8 despite manual saying “For future use” against 6 & 7.
It also says “For future use” against 1 & 3. I wonder what they do. |
NO 1 is for the passenger side ejector seat ;)
NO 3 is for the machine guns behind the lights :D Honest answers - No 1 Turns off the bleeps only for the next time the system is armed (If bleeps turned on!) No 3 Puts the system into valet mode (effectively freezing the passive immobilisation and any other features such as auto arm when the vehicle goes in for service. System re-activated by arming with the remote key). Chris |
