Hi All,
I'm looking for a small GPS logger. What I need is something that when you press a button it simply logs the location and allows you to download those points later via a serial or USB port. Only needs to store say 200 points including date, time, lat, long, altitude, bearing and speed. Must be battery powered (lasting a minimum of 8 hours) and fairly small. Doesn't need to be a finished product either, a GPS engine combined with a port and logger would do, but a single pile of electronics would be nice. Anybody know of anything like this ? I've looked at all the handheld GPS units and they can do this, but I don't need all the display tat. Replies here or to: iwatkins@netcomuk.co.uk Cheers Ian |
Thanks Kav/Mark,
I've tried these and others, but they all seem to require two purchases. I.e. no single item jobbie. Of course, I could put one together with what is available there. Cheers Ian |
