Well,
Except my problem posted to the previous topic, a new one came last night while driving home after a good weekend.
Idling problem begun , as I can say, after refueling at the highway to Athens from a BP
station. When I shift to neutral and start braking with low speed to stop the car idle falls to 500prm and then slowly try to correct near 700-750prm. That happens every time.Check engine light came on and subaru service have checked the throttle, clean it and reset the ecu. Now the problem is STILL THERE for a f*****g reason that cant be fund.

So your help and knowledge will be appreciated.

I think Phil at Barrett Motorsports was talking about this.

I'm going from memory, but I'm sure someone will correct me, if I'm wrong.

There are two idle settings on the car, and they need to be adjusted. Apparently it's quite straight forward. I think (going from memory and lacking mechanical skills) there is one to set the upper limit of the idle speed, and one for the lower limit.

Sounds like the lower limit needs to be raised slightly.

Could be wrong, but it's a starting point.

Andy ,
Men at service told me that ISC Throttle sensor must be ,when warm , near 33 up to 37%.
Dont know more about this, but adjusting it did not solve the problem.

Problem cured today.
Just in case someone else face the same problem have in mind to check the sensor that is under the gearbox and checks when the gear level is in neutral possition.
When in neutral, computer on and when engange a gear it goes to off.
When in on position, the sensor gives a command to the ecu to hold the idle at 750rpm.

Cheers.

WREXY.

WREXY,

distroyed gearbox.

Thanks Kostas.
