At last, something I dont have to drive for hours to get to!
Sounds like a good night to me. Mike, do you know how much a full test and alignment would normally be? Techy question as well! If I change to 17s, will that change the settings of some of the angles etc, I am assuming that it will robski |
Dear All,
In conjunction with SCA Race & Rally in Norwich, the Norfolk RSOC are organising an inter-club get-together (Scoobies / RSOC etc) on Friday 26 May. The evening will be based at SCAs premises in Norwich (see |
this sounds brill so is there any chance that something could be organised for those of us in the west midlands

Robski,
Hope you can make it. Normally is £40 per hour, so cost depends on how long it takes to set up. The geometry will change only if the rolling radius of the tyres change. You would have to find out from a tyre place if a 205/50 x 16 is that much smaller than a 205/40 x 17 (I would have thought that the uprated tyre would be slightly bigger, but not by mutch). The reason for the evening is because most cars come set up wrong even from the factory. This will enable you to see if your car is what it should be or not, or how far away you are from the optimum settings..... Also, the obvious get together of the different marques should be fun.... Sounds great! Unfortunately Norwich is quite far for us Londoners http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/frown.gif
Does anyone know of a good geometry place down South? Any recommendations? May be we can try to organise a similar event with them. |
And again...

This is only next week...

Don't forget, this is your last reminder - just turn up on the night from 6.30 onwards for a free check over and print out. Hope to see some Scoobies there.
Best regards Mike |
