Is the fuel gauge supposed to drop to zero when you turn the ignition off?

Mine is staying at fuel level and telling every car thief how much is in it.

Please help

John

John

My fuel gauge does the same. I have a UK MY97.

It must be a standard feature.

If this is a standard feature does anyone know a way to change it?

Jza,
Best way to stop anyone seeing how much fuel is in your car is to put on a nice big disclok, you cant see the fuel guage then http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif
