If Autocar have it right (me thinks they do) the 5dr looks the donkeys' whatsits , sort of Alfa 156 sportwagon with attitude http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/tongue.gif the back of the 4dr looks like a Nissan Maxima/QX with a big spoiler http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif . so as before the 5dr looks far more distinctive
Oooh! don't you just love a good wind-up Ian |
Interesting question....
I guess we'll just have to wait and see the final product our selves -preferablly in a Subaru ad- ..... NOT in an Autocar computer simulation. Good luck |
In agreement with the above.
The 4 door looks bloody terrible from behind but it does have the flared wheel arches which the 5 door doesn't. Does that mean the the 4 door gets a wider track thus better handling? |
Maybe the wheels are real and everything else is a computer simulation!? http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif

I know its only a simulation ( or so it's claimed ,for legal reasons ? ) but if you study the photos of the 5 dr ,the rear pasenger door does flare out just like the saloon ,but there is no swage (spel?) line to emphasise it . also looking close at the pictures it is only the wheels that don't look part of the real photo , which sugests the cars had crappy steels as a diguise , we shal see as you say !!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/cool.gif

If you look at the seats in the 4 door they look normal where as the 5 door has the correct ones, if the pictures are computer gererated perhaps they started with a Legacy on the 4 door and the MY00 Impreza on the 5 door.
Either way the 5 door looks the best, the saloon looks like a cross between a Ford Focus and a Hyundi. |
Are the pictures from Autocar scanned in on a website anywhere ?
|
Could be right Mike http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif I'm sure the "computer" added a couple of inches to the diameter of the wheels to enhance the druel effect
