Currently on the list are some new discs, pads and braided hoses, shortly followed by some Eibach Springs. I know I can get all these on Mail Order, but who can I trust to fit them?? I don't want to pay main dealer labour rates, anyone have any ideas?

Les, you can try a company called SAS who are situated in Aldershot. Always seem to have scoobies in their workshop when I go there. Tim, the owner, does some work for Bell & Colvill, as they don't touch imports. Most of his parts are sourced from there too. Worth a call for sure. I heard of them from the Scooby dealer who sold me my car.
01252-328080 - Only one I know of in our area. Send us a mail if you find any others...

Yeah Gents, I'd be interested to hear of any. My STI is approaching a timing belt change and I don't want to take it back to the last place I used (won't say who).

I'm in the Walton on Thames area. Have been told Lockyear are OK (can't remember exactly where they are).

I would use Graham Goode Racing, but Leister's one hell of a trek.

You could try the guy who services my MY95 WRX. He's based in a place called Holt Pound, between Farnham & Bordon.

His name's Gary and the garage is Alice Holt Garage (he owns an RB5). He's a top man! Tel. 01420-22773 He services/repairs quite a few Scoobies & he knows what he's doing. If you call him, say Jo with the silver WRX gave you his name.

Good luck.

Lockyear are located in plumbers plain which is just outside of horsham.
They are ok, but i find them a tad expensive as they were formerly main dealers.

SAS in Aldershot are very good and knowledgeable.

Park Lane is another option near guildford located in alton.

Lockyear's get my vote, (they are at Plummers Plain..not plumbers plain) just off the m23 south of horsham ,maybe a bit exp, but you get what you pay for, do quality work too. Just done my STi service for about £100. I asked about cost on changing the main cambelt. £250 will cover it. long job and best left to the experts (big belt too)

Oh the joys of motoring http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif

Cheers Showtime.

Lockyear aren't that expensive if they are quoting £250.00

Thats £25.00 cheaper than I've been quoted at the last place that I used (again, cause I'm not happy with there service I won't say who. Not fair to them I guess)

I'm sure the other garages are fine. I'm just worried that I need a recognised name on the service book when I sell it (next year).
