got mine from ats - although they did have to be ordered from newcastle (I'm in west cumbria), still got them on the same day though. £89 a corner.

Last two sets I needed I managed to get from stock - fitted there and then. If you're looking for the best price then it is likely you'll have to order and wait for them. Not hard to find though.

Apparantly they are on 2-3 weeks back order at the 20 or so places I phoned. At the moment they are rarer than rocking horse sh1t in these parts!

Kwik fit newbury can get them though but its going to cost £230 for 2 tyres 215/40/17.

Kwik Fit have a price match policy. Tell them the best quote you've had and they should match it.

Kwick fit in bristol wanted £163 per tyre fitted????? Bol***** to that - getting other quotes now..

Agree with the original poster.... they are in very short supply hence stupid prices being quoted!

Thanks guys - have put on Continental sport contact extra load as I wanted to try extra load tyre, but Goodyear dont do it in my size!

Initial response in the wet weather is good after I adjusted the pressures correctly - on the front 28 and 31.5 were how they left it (kwik fit!)

Will report back after the rally weekend when given them a proper run away from the Talivans!

It's true!..... seems almost everyone is waiting for the backorder delivery from Goodyear at the mo. Found this out last week when had a panic requirement (long story) for a new set of 4.

Found them though..... Selectatyre in Macclesfield £436 fitted etc.

If anyone else is looking Bathwick tyres had them in stock when I got mine 2 weeks ago, and they're the cheapest in this area
