Just picked up my MY00 Impreza on Saturday and not realising I could alter the seat height I pushed myself up using the door. And what did I do? after a loud crack it appears that I've cracked the plastic under the soft rubberey bit.

Well miffed but you can't really see unless you look hard. I wouldn't mind but its not as if I'm a heavy person at 10 stone!

Anyone else done this.

yeah, i did the same! i can beat your 2 days though, i did mine on the dealers forecourt when i bought it! what a ****!!!
broke it with the point of my elbow and really fcuked it up, had to take the door card off and fibre glass the inside to reinforce the busted section.
i can look back and laugh now:o
