Since I also have two ankle biters who are unaware of the "extra hour" in bed thanks to GMT, I thought it prudent to introduce the concept of an alarm clock to them last night.

"Don't wake daddy up till the alarm clock rings," I said.

Set it for 8.00 am. I.e, 9.00 am.

Et voila, fantastic lie in. First time in years.
