when i first turn on my iginition the display goes like this, seems to do it on cold/damp mornings.
i pull out the multiplug and re connect, works fine. does this happen to any1 else? is it just a case of putting some vaseline on the contacts as a mate suggested? http://images.fotopic.net/?id=152287...ze=1&nostamp=1 link |
I'd contact PSI and get a replacement under guarentee if it is less than 12 months old.

I would have said its more to do with the cold weather
Its very frosty in the mornings at the moment, windows iced up etc, lcd displays do not like the cold, my phone display goes like that in very cold weather |
Mine hates hot and cold weather and I'm always having to mess about with the "contrast" to get a display I can see. I gave up in the summer heat as the whole display looked pale blue.
I have ordered oil temp, oil pressure, and boost gauges from a group buy and will use the SECS for Lamda and more importantly error codes......:) Midlife..... |
I find page 5 helpfull -can keep an eye on:-
Oil Pressure Oil temp Coolant temp Boost Cant remember others on the page but its easy. Also helps having low levels and high level alarms set - dont always need to worry as it alarms as soon as figures reached. |
I had some problems with my unit and it was replaced under warranty no problem.
Now working fine. Cheers for the quick turnaround. |
