Sorry if this has been done before - if so no lake quotes please :D

Following scam e-mail rec'd from a Barclays look-a-like address which has been doing the rounds. Obviously suspicious and I checked with Barclays proper before binning.

Dear Barclays Bank Member,

This email was sent by the Barclays server to verify your e-mail
address. You must complete this process by clicking on the link
below and entering in the small window your Barclays Membership
number, passcode and memorable word.
This is done for your protection --- because some of
our members no longer have access to their email addresses and
we must verify it.

=====

So be careful out there .. David

I got one of those a couple of hours ago.

Made me laugh as it called me a 'Citibank Member' and I have never banked with them. Was also sent to my ISP's mailbox which i dont use for anything either.
