Hi, I have a load of jpg files which are currently at 600dpi resolution. I’m looking for a program which will change the resolution of all of them at once to a lower dpi.

I’ve tried “JPEG Disk Optimizer” from xat.com, but the –ws command does not seem to be working on my files.

Any other programs I could use?

Thanks for any help in advance.

I generally use the File Resizer Power Toy for XP. It adds an option to the File menu in Windows explorer.

It's a bit basic - it only does the common screen resolutions, but that's usually good enough.

I use Fireworks to do stuff like that. There's probably a demo available on the Macromedia website. I'm sure there are freeware tools to do the same though.

do a search on google for Mihov image resizer
it is freeware and can convert files as well as reducing file size/resolution etc. etc.
