Ok, before i go any further i just wanted to know if im heading in the right direction...

Ive downloaded and unzipped phpbb2.0.6

Ive created the necessary database on my server

Do i now upload the files in phpbb2 folder? Do i upload this folder too? Do i need to create a folder in the same name as the DSN and put the phpbb2 folder/files from in that?

Hope that makes sense. Im just looking for help on the next stage :D

Up the files to the phpbb2 folder that u have created on your FTP site , your DSN should point to the place where the database is at , i always bung my DB in the same place as my PHPBB2 folder , less to go wrong ...

how do u create a database? i want to set this up on my site but not a clue how to create the database? i think my space works with it...

Quick question before i FTP

Does the phpBB2 folder need to be at the root directory or doesnt it matter?
