As you can see i'm all new to the scooby. It looks like the waist gate is on the left hand side of the engine(as you look at it). It also looks like there is something broken off the left hand side of the waist gate, if it nis the waistgate that i'm looking at! I want to do this thinners thing to the t- piece to clear out the tube - problems with misfire. Lambda changed out, all coils, all plugs, ecu out replaced with RA version, but might need the proper ecu...anyone give me a clue? i'm stuck as the scooby dealer ain't too happy giving help to wrx owners.

Wastegate is on the turbo, left side of the engine at the back of the engine bay. With all the metal shielding with cute little piccies of scalded hands http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif sorry thats not intended to sound patronising, but i just read it and its possible it could be read that way !

Wastegate solenoid is on the gold coloured bracket on the strut top, on the left side of the engine as you look at it.
