I'd never use "tesco" as they are owned by Direct line insurance and we all know how bad their services are. Also they dont get their insured cars repaired to any thing near a high standard and often refuse customers the right to have their scooby repaired at a dealer.

Im insured by tescos £540 a year, Im 33 full NCB etc, never had a drama.

AllyB 23 October 2003 10:48 AM

Im with Tesco for my FRS (£800 4-NCD), brother had his 206 insured with them, when he tried to get it reparied at the local dealer, Tesco did their up most to stop him. Dealer, who I knew well, was getting pissed off. Kept being put through to different departments, asking for the wrong information etc. Recon if he had taken it to one of the big paint shops wouldnt have been a problem, apart from the price being stuipd and the work crap.
In the end he paid for it to be done.

The Gilly 23 October 2003 03:30 PM

I've got an MY00 Impreza Turbo. I'm 26, no accidents, 6 Years NCB but a DR10 (drink Drive) 3 years ago.

Years quote - £1069 Protected NCB or £780 NCB not protected.
