Markus,
I have the Bosch blades from Halfords and they are excellent. They clean the screen very well and there's no judder either http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif What I won't try again is Halfords rubber replacements which fit into the original arms - I had a terrible job trying to get the rubbers to fit and then a few days later I noticed (just in time!) that one of them was starting to come out again. They are rubbish IMHO. Cheers. Raymond. |
Cheers!
I agree with the refil wiper blades, far too much hassle. Might try out the bosch ones. |
OK, I'm getting, or have got, a reputation for asking the daftest questions. But I thought I'd ask this one.
At the moment I've got some halford's jobbies doing fairly good service on my car. But what would you lot recommend as decent wiper blades? I've seen in Halfords some, I think, BOSCH ones which are meant to be quite good, though I'm not sure. anyone wanna help out? |
Do you know what the code is for the Halfords Bosch jobbies - Moray did tell me a while ago but I've forgotten
Thanks |
Hi all!
Bosch wipers are T530S on the driver's side and T480S on the passenger side. These have aerofoils so they work at more than 80MPH, unlike the non-aerofoil versions. The T530S is listed as a Scoob application, the T480S is not, but it fits just fine. Hope this helps, Pat. |
I agree with Pat.
The Halfords ones are useless over 80 mph. Now I'll have to buy another set for Goodwood. Ho hum, you live and learn I suppose....grrr Justin |
Are there better ones?
Where from - codes, etc and how much? Thanks in advance |
Maybe the same ones, but the Bosch TWIN are the best I have found

Hi
I've also just got the bosch ones from halfords and they are great. Why buy the one with the spoiler though as its more expensive and the scooby wiper arm already has a huge spoiler on it? Also I've just put some rain wizzard (the stuff in the pink torpedo) on the windows and all I can say is WOW!!! what a differance. Chris |
Does anybody have this problem???
At speed we shall say, the wiper seems to shoot up the screen, but has a struggle to get back down to it's original posistion.(maybe it's a sign i drive to fast in the wet. |
Isn't the 'spoiler' on the UK models - or the older cars - certainly dont have on my import
