Hi all

I've got a shiny new STiV rear spoiler waiting to be fitted to my MY00. Before I start drilling holes (7 additional holes to supplement the existing 6 MY00 ones):

- has anyone already done this and do they have a template or advice?
- does anyone have an STiV bootlid without spoiler that I can take a template from?

The spoilers we supply come with locating pads that you fix to the bottom of the spoiler, position it on the bootlid, and when you lift away the spoiler the pads stay on the bootlid and this is where you drill.

However, most people don't drill the bootlid and use the double sided body fixing tape, this with the existing holes is more than adequate.

Lee had one fitted by scoobysport and yes they used a template. Your wellcome to have a look at mine if you need an idea of position. Graham.

Or make your own template, asuming that the spoiler has got bolts that go through the boot lid.

Cover the area in masking tape.
then cover the bottom of all the bolts in some paint, place spoiler in the correct position, and as if by magic the paint marks where you need to drill, and if its placed correctly it should also put paint where the existing holes already are just to confirm correct placement and alignment.

I have fitted a sti5 on my car just by using the FOUR original holes and SickyFlex

Talking about the STI5 rear wing, it it just me or is it normal that it is wobbling a little bit when driving over bad surface?
I checked the STI6 rear wing at it seem to be much harder and less 'wobbly'!
Advise please!!

I have a STIV wing, it is a wobbly and I didn't drill any additional holes, just used the four original ones.
