There was some talk a while back about the Broquet fuel catalysts.
I was wondering if any of the people who fitted them are still happy, or if anyone else has tried them, what do you think?
Cheers....JAMES

It appears nobody wants to comment ,but as the supplier toof several thousands for use in the Impreza turbo (imports and uk spec)i have only had positive feedback.
Also re-orders from users who have upgraded.
IM i am reliable informed are not aware of piston crown failure occuring to a vehicle fitted with Broquet.
If you want any further info let me know.

I fitted one to my car from new (at 400 miles), a MY00 DBM 5-dr SIT. Can't say it's done much for fuel consumption because I've got nothing to compare it with. I did notice the car ran smoother and I'm happy with the cars smoothness and performance. Car has since done 3000 miles and is getting quicker. I notice that some petrol causes slightly lower performance but this can't be put down to any particular brand.

I consider it money well spent. I do wish I could offer a more objective argument though. I will put it in my next Elise after 6 months to get a more accurate measure.

Rob.

I could be talking balls here, but I think that they're fitted in P1s as standard. No doubt someone will correct me if I'm wrong http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif
