Passed my local Hyundai dealer & notice in pride of place on the forecourt a MY2001 WRX Saloon in Deep Blue metallic. An X reg with 48k, aircon etc. How much ? £10,995 !!!!! Are they really worth this much or do the gold wheels knock a couple of grand off ?

My local Ford dealer has a 2001 Mondeo ST24 V6 - leather, air con, CD changer, fsh, etc etc, 22K miles - £6200 - now
that's depreciation... Cheers PS And no, I'm not tempted. [Edited by Toonman1 - 10/20/2003 12:50:42 AM] |
I would be...thats rediculously cheap, what dealer was it?
|
You might not like the design although you had enough time o get over it but do you really think it is nice or in the community spirit to make a post like that Dunk?
|
I didn't think the post was so bad (apart from the gold wheels comment which I have to agree with)- surely it's good news if prices drop? Then more people can afford them. Prices of the bugeye falling will affect the classic so the price to change will reamin the same.

It doesn't have to mean its a good MY2001 WRX Saloon... it could have problems with it hence the price reduction...
Stollen recovered? Accident repaired? Bought cheap from someone needing the cash and sold cheap to make a quick sale and the next purchaser can sell at a profit or keep for private use hence selling the car eventually back at its book value... Ther's many reasons why it could be at that price :) [Edited by Franko - 10/20/2003 9:27:18 AM] |
Get a life Prattel !!!
You try and do a good turn......, it's not to my liking but it might be someone elses. To those of you who would like to sleep with it, it's at www.peachsgarage.co.uk (although it's not listed on their site at the mo.) D |
Good My01's are still selling over here for mid A$30's
Only thrashed ones are under A$30,000 |
Trade price according to CAP is £10,100, so providing they bought it right and it didnt need a big recon. They will still make a small profit.
Glass's trade price is £9325  Word of advice based on that... If you've got a Bugeye and want to trade it in. Make sure the dealer only uses CAP ;) |
