Apologies for putting this in general but i figured that i may get a speedier answer this way :)

I am just wondering how people got over the problem of the leather not being fixed to the bottom of the gearknob, i.e. without the plastic thing that sticks out of the original one?

How have people overcome the problem of the leather being loose?

Any help greatly appreciated!!!!

had a problem with this before.

We used a little washer with a screw through the side that could be adjust with an allan key. We got it from someone on here, can't remember who though cos it was back near christmas time. Hopefully they are reading this :) Or you could give it a bash yourself.

I will have a wee look to find the thread for you :)

Having a go at this myself later. Got a MOMO Shadow gearknob to fit but was wondering how to keep the gator up

I'll get back to you if i come up with a simple fix.

I just used some black insulation tape and wrapped it around the gear stick. This made it bigger and then just pull the gator up over it because it has a little give in it it's a tight squeeze but it holds it up!

I also just used black insulation tape, it worked a treat, try it!

I used a cable tie then wrapped it in insulation tape when I fitted a Momo air leather, easy 10-15 minutes job from start to finish.

Andy.
