Just a quickie!!! Whats the difference between panel filters and Induction kits?? apart from the physical!! Many people claim bhp increases while others say they dont do anything?? Im only asking as I was going to go to SS at the weekend and buy an ITG filter!! any help would be appreciated!!

Best thing to do is to have a spin in 2 similar cars with both types fitted....to see which of the noises you like best! Induction kits make more noise and let you hear more of the dump valve operating.

Letdown if youre interested, Ive got a virtually brand new K&N panel filter for sale.

Let me know if you want to give it a go.

Letdown,

panel filter - good, especially with resonator taken out of offside wing - fiddly diy job

induction kit - good, and noisy - make sure it is fitted very securely, especially if it is a MY99/00 car - also Blitz users recently have commented in the lack of filtration - i.e. lots of dust on the ENGINE side of the intake

Cheers,

R
