My headlamp washers have stopped working. I can hear a relay click when I press the switch but can’t hear the pump. Can anyone tell me where the pump lives as I can only see the one for the windscreen washer jets and this works fine? Any thoughts as to the cause of the non-squirting gratefully received.

The headlamp washer pump is underneath the washer bottle with windscreen pump at the side. It is a high pressure pump. If you just here the click it is more than likely the pump. (to confirm you can bypass the relays etc and put 12v across the pump). Mine went last year- fortunately replaced under warranty so I don't know the cost.

Thanks Dean, I'll have a look at it over the weekend. Warranty on my UK 96 is up, so looks like I'll be finding out the price of a new pump very soon.

How about relocating them to the rear bumper facing out and fill the washer bottle with oil.
