Well that's the second one gone. Looks like they last about 6K miles on my car. Anybody beat that.
You know my brother was hoping that since I'd got a new car that the days of securing parts with tank tape and cable ties were over. Ha little does he know how well put together Scoobies are http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Worst bit is though that it is going to take my dealer 2 WEEKS to get a replacement. Just as well I was sitting down at the time http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/smile.gif DaveW |
Emm! and I thought I was the only one.... I'm on my second. The metals too thin and the vibration sh*gs it after a while (well, that's what I think). Mind you, still looking forward to Oct and the Motor show! Can't think of anything else (well that I can afford) that I'd rather own/buy.
Enjoy... |
Mike,
I think my dealer is going to modify the next bracket to see if they can stop it braking. So hopefully this next one will last past the 18k barrier. DaveW |
Aww, Dave. You must be either working the car too hard http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gifor those new lights are melting the bracket!!! http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

Mark,
Mmmm never thought about the lights. Must phone Scoobysport and check to see if that is a known problem, since I don't drive my car hard at all http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif Oh by the way brake pads are about shot at 12k but the new tyres are bedding in nicely http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/biggrin.gif . DaveW PS: Exhaust and filter are on the cards for next month. |
