I have a 97/98 JDM WRX that has a Zero Sports conversion. Now this, according to the guy I bought the car from, consists of uprated turbo and exhaust (but not all of it, inlet track modification and a suspension change.

The suspension is coil over shock with adjustable height and is green in colour, as are the anti roll bars that have been fitted.

Any idea what brand these are as there are no stickers anywhere?

Any idea if these will be adjustable for damping, and where would I look for the adjustment point?

Any advice is gratefully received.

A bit more info

The strut brace is a CUSCO one,..........is that good?

And the struts have a 12-13mm nut facing downwards from underneath the strut. Would this be an adjuster or is it what I think it is....a nut for taking it apart? I cant see any other way of adjusting the damping.

Could really do with some info, as if I cant soften the suspension then I will have to change the whole lot back to something near standard.

Could be TEIN Coilovers they are Green!

They generally look like this - if the nut you refer to is similar to the little green one above the left hand damper in the picture - it is an adjuster - commonly found at the bottom of the damper!

Some piccies for reference first up.

Zero ARBs:

Runner Dampers (cheapest in the range, fixed):

Winning (expensive ones):

There is also a Winning model with fixed settings. Obviously, if they are adjustable you'll be able to tell pretty easily.

Turbo kit:

Check under the passenger well footplate to see if the computer has a Zero sticker on it. I would personally suggest you get an ECU that is tuned for UK fuel, or a remap (if that is possible on them in the UK).

Best of luck with the car.

Forgot to add they do a kit without the up pipe, too.

Their exh manifold is supposed to be pretty good too. Hope all that kit is on their and in good working order.

Did I mention a remap for UK fuel?;) At the very least a knocklink is the way to go IMHO.

Cheers:)
