i have some curbed alloys and was wondering if anyone new a place where i can get them repaired.
i have a really bad alloy which i did yesterday hit a curb doing about 30 mph pure lack of concentration and its in rag,its also the alloy which had a blow out so theres still rubber melted on it. nedd to the cost per alloy or what they charge and how long they need them for(there 18"s as well if that makes a difference). only thing is my old wheels wont clear my 4 pots cause there 15"s. |
I've just had two done: I get the second back tomorrow. The first was badly kerbed on ice, and the second, lightly kerberd by wifey parking it!
Both were done by Kingsway tyres at Grimsby, for about £30 the pair. They've made a very good job of it, and price included tyres off, and back on with new valves and balancing. I suggest you look in Yellow Pages for wheels tyres, ring one or two, and they'll point you in the right direction. Alcazar BTW: I bought a fifth 17" wheel to do this: now I'm selling it again for what it cost me. |
If you fancied a trip to Harefield on the outskirts of London I would recommend Little Knocks 01895 677112. I think they may give a discount to scooby's.
