Akira 16 November 1999 07:12 PM

John,
i don't care whether your 9 year old cossie will beat a 911 at 80 mph because that would be breaking the speed limit, and i can't condone such irresponsible behavior .................... you hooligan! LOL LOL http://bbs.scoobynet.co.uk/wink.gif

akira,

only on the track you know!

honest occifer.

PS i got stopped by a bike copper once for driving irresponsibly. I couldnt understand what the hell he was going on about at first.
He said that when i saw him i jumped on the brakes and locked my brakes up as he saw the car nose dive and heard the tyres squeel.

I sussed out what he actually saw after i had been forced to take a verbal caution rather than be prosecuted for something i didnt do!

What i did was accelerate out of a roundabout in 2nd, i saw him parked up so came of the throttle, the wastegate then dumped 24PSI worth of boost, this chattered the waiste gate, the nose of the car dove as i was still on standard suspension and it used to squat like mad on full chat.

I thought about going back and demonstrating this to him, but i dont think he would have apreciated that some how.

the girlfriend ended up calling one of our little black fluffy kitties Akira so it became the obvious choice for BBS.

have you seen "legend of the overfiend"?

John,

Did you see 'Crying Freeman' on Sky Movie Max last night. I liked it - bit of mumbo jumbo that would have been explained a lot better in the comics, but hey you can't have it all.

Beating M3s is quite satisfying too!
Especially "dumping" as you pull away from them.
Legend of the Overfiend is good.
Ninja Scroll is better ... especially on Region 1 DVD.

Nic Doczi 20 November 1999 08:22 PM

Hey Kids,

How do you know you are "beating" these cars? Do you stop to agree to race(I hope not)?

I was behind a Volvo on the M4 yesterday and it drove off into the distance. I thought that his 125mph with headlights on full beam was OTT!

Nic
